Question, since noone talks on here. How many woman, when they are looking for the perfect partner look at their age first? What is the first thing your eyes snatch when you look at their information? and what is the very first question you ask them? Well?? 9 times out of 10 woman look at the age. Does age even matter? to most of you, the answer would be yes. Ask yourself this ladies... "What kind of partner would I want to spend the rest of my life with?"

It's not THAT important but what would I have in common in with someone in their 20's? I am trying to go to college to finish my degree but am ready to settle down. How many in their 20's are ready to settle down? I wouldn't mind having someone in their 20's as friends but unless they are ready to settle down and/or we have alot in common, I don't see how I could be in that relationship. I hope that I find that one that blows my mind and proves me wrong.

I try not to look at age, but yes, age matters at some point, not always though. Sometimes when I look at the profiles here, I find compatibility, for the most part. The first thing I look at is, 'what kind of person they are looking for', and sometimes I just think to myself, "I'm not young or hip to be with her"; my "times" are over and just like Tristan2010 said, "I'm no cougar" either. I, too, worry that I won't live up to expectations. I'm old-fashioned, I want to "woo" or "sweep a woman off her feet", like times now slowly being forgotten. Age wouldn't bother me if there is that honest woman, who truly wants to be loved. All we need to do is talk, no matter what age, and if we "click", I know that something wonderful will happen. Just like urickh said, all I need to ask is "How are you?" and we can go from there.

I guess age would be an issue only because some of the younger women, now not all of them mind you want to sew their oats. You look at it like I am 47, she is 20 something whats going to happen in 10, 20, 30 years? Are they still going to be around or are they going to leave you for someone more their age. What am I looking for in a life partner? One who will be there through thick or thin, that won't run when things get tough and will talk things out if something is bothering them. One who can make a decision about her happiness for herself and not be swayed by outside influences. One that when they say they have never been loved by anyone like you have loved me and I have not loved anyone like I love you that they actually MEAN IT!! Just saying......

aww thank you! yes I am old in knowlege for my seemingly young age. A lot has happened to me through the years, unfortunitly noone actually asks, they just judge me for my actual age. So right off the bat they'll just assume I or even someone isn't enough for them because of the age. Hell I'm not a "wild child", Im just someone who would love to travel around the world and write about it. I really don't like the drinking phase at all. But you know people. Thank you for actually saying that. Seriously, thank you for your kindness.

for me age doesn't matter but must of the woman who even catch my attention on here have a age limit that is older than me idk maybe they assume a 20 year old woman isn't mature enough for them or would be into something extremely different things than them which i have to say gets really frustrating when u're checking out someones profile and you like what u see and read but your too young for them anyone else have this problem?

I like a strong, self- assured woman, who is driven to be herself. Oh, A great smile helps! Outgoing and kind.

Good one, but i think we look at the age first in order to assess compatibility. Why look for a 20 years old listening to techno rap when i am in my thirties and enjoy the Pet Shop Boys? Non?

Yes, i do look at the age first because i am old, lol, so age does play a big role. I am at that age ready to settle down. Financially for my future partner is not that important to me. The very first question i ask them is that "are you hot?", just kidding. Seriously, the first question i ask is "How are you?", then we go from there. The kind of partner i would want to spend the rest of my life with is someone kind, loyal, and not self centered.
