Having a nice brunch or candlelight dinner follow by attending an exciting Sporting Event.

Depending on my date (if they enjoyed sports) I would take them out to eat somewhere and then we could go watch a sporting event. On the other hand if they weren't that into sports I would take them out to eat and then go see a movie or go to the park or something of that nature. I am a pretty simple person, but I will do whatever it takes to make my date enjoy whatever it is we do.

how about going to a sports game together? It is relaxing and fun, and we probably feel more comfortable sharing our own background and stories with each other.

I am all for going to a game (basketball, baseball, football, etc) it's not too intimate and you can let go by yelling at players and coaches. There's always the great feasting you can partake in, such as huge hot dogs, nachos, cold beer, etc. You can carry on conversations and get to know each other, unlike a movie where you sit in the dark and remain silent. After the victorious game, a celebratory stroll along the beach, taking in the sound of the waves, the aroma of salty air and the baby fine soft sand underneath our bare feet. And then from there maybe putt putt or another activity to get outdoors.
