I used to be a real romantic, but I've learned that a simple activity that we both enjoy might be more telling about compatibility than a romantic date. I'd like to spend a day kayaking or bike riding through the woods, with a simple picnic lunch to really get to know someone and let them know me.

I would want nothing more than to be somewhere nice with someone i care about. I would rather get to know my partner as a friend first, and then date, but sometimes just skipping the "just friends" state is okay. I love parks, the mountains, trails and lakes. going to fancy places make me kind of uncomfortable, id rather go to a cafe or coffee shop and chat than out to a nice dinner.
