why make it so hard to meet Comments and Suggestions Forward to friends

It is truly a sad day in this world when the only way to meet someone whether it be for pen pals, friends, or that special someone comes with a membership price tag. I can't believe that it the cost to run/maintain this type of website is so exhorbitantly expensive they have to charge the thousands of members hundreds of dollars a year. Am I the only one who has been slowly strangled financially with the economy of late? Really, where do they suppose EVERYONE has the money? with all the layoffs, jobs ending, companies going out of business, medical costs on the insane rise, how do they really expect those of us unfortunate ones to rationalize the expenditure of a "dating service" just to meet someone?.... this almost reminds me of the turn of the century "mail order bride" system.... when you proclaim to have "free" services, "communicate FREE via email", etc and then in order to use those features you have to "Upgrade".... where is the free in that? oh thrill, 1 wink a month and the option to view profiles but nothing more? Is there really such a place where women can meet without having to rob Priscilla to pay Paula? maybe someday over the rainbow???? hugzzz ladies

Yeah, I agree with you. I just responded to another similar topic. I think that dating itself it is difficult, but then when you start talking about dating if you're bisexual (I'm bisexual) or lesbian, can be even more difficult. Especially for someone new to the scene like me, who also happens to have a bit of a physical disability. There are already enough barriers for a lot of people, I don't see why this site has to make even more.

But that's just my two cents

I know it is hard finding compatible partners in this day in age. Trust is a big issue. I go to Las Vegas, Nevada (huge amount of gay and bi venues) where a VIP Host Daphina Eskue eight one eight, six three six, zero five two two, hooks me up with friendly places nightly to meet cool people to party, talk, and potentially meet. You should contact her or her associate at seven zero two, seven four one, four one five seven.

I agree. I think they ought to at least give you a short amount of time to try the site in its entirety before asking for the money. Like free for the first couple of weeks or month and then if you like it, time to pony up the cash. I don't know if this site is right for me yet, so I hesitate to go for the pay option. Not because I'm too cheap or can't afford it or am not serious (I'm serious, believe me), but because I don't know if it's right for me yet. I just really don't want to pay and then find out it's totally not worth it.

Yes, you are so right, every word of it. Their greed for money has no boundaries. Atleast if they come out with a lottery of every quater 5 members will get FREE membership allowing computer to choose randomly is good for website advertisement as well as some members who are lucky can benefit. What do they lose nothing, the cost of serves is same whether you have one member or a billion. Why this mercenary attitude?

Like urickh I am on the lookout for friends only who are nice , understand decency and dont show off. Just sharing thoughts with somebody who is understanding even if it is just one friend. I'd consider that as a massive blessing. What it takes? Nothing! Just few minutes of sincerarity is whilst to listen or to say few lines, whats the big deal!

So much complex people have that their straightforward lives are distorted to force them into depression and oblivion - unnecessary. LIFE IN ACTUALITY IS SO SIMPLE, NICE AND COLORFUL IF YOU DONT EXPECT MUCH FROM IT.

I totally agree with you. Now a days there is no such thing as "free". I don't even think its worth it to pay to any dating websites. I did pay one time to a different dating website, and all i got was a bunch of players and pretenders. What a waste of time and money. I believe the main problem on online dating is "trust". Lets admit it, we do not know most of the time who we are dealing with. I myself is paranoid after my experienced. I look more for friends here than lovers, so far i found 3 really nice ladies, but the problem is they are all so far away, lol. I longed for friends to go for coffee or do some activities, sadly i have not find any locals here, yet.

    Good luck to all, cheers
