New to this site, but have found in general that lesbians seem to cover up what they really want.
They will list a smorgasbord of wants/wishes /desires but in my experience at least four out of every five have no interest in friendship at all. What they really want is either something sexual and casual, or alternatively, a full on committed relationship.
Why do you think they have a problem being honest?
I don't know if it's a deliberate dishonesty but I know what you mean. I think sometimes people are afraid to appear vulnerable by stating what it is they really want. Saying you want friendship sounds cozy and cuddly and not like you have a deep emotional need for either a true relationship or a physical longing that needs to be fulfilled. Probably almost everyone who goes on a dating site saying they are looking for friendship is secretly hoping it develops into something more.
